Remember the London Congestion Charge

Our Heathrow hire station isn't in the London Congestion Charge zone, but if you're heading into central London between 7am and 6pm Monday-Friday, you'll pay the charge each day. Look out for Congestion Charge signs.

Find out how to pay the charge. To save you hassle, we can pay on your behalf for the first day of your hire. Just let us know at pick up.

Find your way

Heathrow Airport is signposted from all major motorways. Exit the M4 at Junction 4, follow signs to Heathrow and head towards Terminal 4 until you see signs for Budget car rentals.

Worried you'll get lost? We can pack a sat nav with your car. Just ask. Heathrow's postcode is TW6 1AP.

Late or early flight?

You can drop your hire car off out of hours. Just tell us before your trip.

London is your playground

From Heathrow Airport, it's a 12-mile scoot into Central London and its iconic sights, parkland, theatre and music.

After visiting a handful of the capital’s 30,000 shops, 6,000 restaurants, 7,000 pubs and huge list of attractions, you may be ready for more.

Bypass Heathrow

Just an hour up the road, find the tearoom-filled villages of the Cotswolds. Head right for the ancient city of Oxford, or dart south to explore the wild moors and surfer-friendly bays of the southwest. On your way, take in Bath – a spa destination since Celtic times. Cross into Wales for the second-hand bookshop capital of the world, Hay-on-Wye, or Swansea's sandy neighbour Rhossili.

Continue north for the Minsters and small town charm of Yorkshire, or Wordsworth country in the Lake District. Head north east to see the stunning Northumberland coast.

Pass into Scotland and the golf courses of North Berwick. From Edinburgh it’s a 15 minute hop to hilltop Rosslyn Chapel (famous for The Da Vinci Code). Glasgow and 16th-century Stirling Castle are just up the road. Continue climbing for the Grampian hills, the Cairngorm massif and the jagged west coast.
