This hill-top village is said to be one of the most beautiful 12th century churches in all of France with the film ‘The Name of the Rose’ starring Sean Connery being filmed here.

Car hire at Toulouse Blagnac Airport (TLS) – Practical Information

Finding your way to Toulouse from Toulouse Airport is reasonably simple. Exit the Airport on to the Allée Saint-Exupery, and then take the first exit on both roundabouts to get onto the A621.

When across the river merge into the A620, and then take exit 30 towards ‘Ponts Jumeaux/Toulouse-Centre’.
Finally merge onto Bd de l’Embouchure and continue onto Les Ponts Jumeaux where the road turns into Bd de la Marquette. After turning left onto Rue de Béarnais, take the first right onto Bd de l’Embouchure, keep right where the road splits and this takes you into the centre of town.
Driving in France isn’t too different from the UK, the main and most obvious difference is that you drive on the right hand side rather than the left.
Children under ten aren’t allowed in the front (unless the rear seats are fully occupied with children under ten). Always carry your driving licence and remember that radar detectors are illegal and mustn’t be in the car at all (Satnavs and GPS systems are allowed and are recommended).
