About Pegasus Airlines

• Pegasus Airlines was established in 1990 as a joint venture between Aer Lingus, Silkar Yatirim and Net Holding with head offices in Istanbul. Its first commercial flight was in May 1990. In January 2005, ESAS Holding took over Pegasus Airlines, with Ali Sabanci as Chairman and Sertaç Haybat as General Manager.

• Pegasus Airlines began its scheduled domestic flights on November 1st, 2005. In 2007, the airline carried 4.1 million passengers.
